Ms. Pomeroy received her BA from Saint Mary’s College of California in the Integral Program, where some of her favorite classes revolved around philosophy and astronomy. Ms. Pomeroy has spent the past five years as a classroom teacher, teaching grade 1 and grade 4. In addition to classroom teaching, she took on additional responsibilities including serving on her school's leadership team, instructional coach, joining WASC visiting accreditation committees, and as the school’s athletic director. During this time, she completed her Master's of Education at the University of Massachusetts.

Outside of school, Ms. Pomeroy is a huge sports fan. She loves to watch any and all sports with a particular interest in soccer, baseball and football. Ms. Pomeroy loves to read and spend time with her puppy, Maverick, and her fiancé, Ismael.
