We’re teaching the power of the vote from PreK t We’re teaching the power of the vote from PreK to high school! 🗳 On Election Day, our students practiced civic responsibility and leadership. Before casting their ballots today, upper school students considered the platforms that were presented in last week's Student Council Element Representative debates. From extending off-campus lunch to creating more service opportunities and hosting additional student competitions, the candidates had clear platforms to improve student life.

Meanwhile, lower school students voted in a highly contested race between fruit, crackers, and cookies for best snack. The responsibility was real! These students learned about the voting process and put democracy into practice. Most importantly, they learned that their voice matters. It was close, but cookies prevailed over fruit (sorry, crackers).

What would you vote for? Comment below with 🍓, 🍘, or 🍪.
