Week 0 - Introduction to the Project

Hello readers! Welcome to my Senior Project.

My name is Hudson Lin, and over the upcoming several months, I will prepare to quantify the idea of team chemistry and how it affects players’ performance in the NBA.

I grew inspiration for this project last year when I began to follow the NBA more intently, watching nearly every game of my favorite team and learning about the personal connections between teammates and players. I wanted to take a psychological approach to analyzing how players work together, whether for better or worse. I hope to uncover why certain archetypes of players work better together than others and how personal connections can define how teams work together as a whole.
