Jiashu Week 1

Hi, my name is Jiashu. Welcome to my first Senior Project blog post!

I’m excited to share the beginning of a research journey that builds on my previous work and continues with the support of a fantastic team at Villanova University. I’ve been a part of this amazing research group since last summer, and together, we have completed many impactful research.

For this project, I will be developing a comprehensive statistical model aimed at optimizing subsidy incentivization strategies among transit service providers in the Washington D.C. area. Our goal is to design a fair subsidy distribution system that not only improves transportation accessibility but also addresses broader social equity issues.

I am excited about my project and look forward to sharing it with you during my final presentation.
