Advanced Placement
Where hard work yields extraordinary results.
The BASIS Curriculum provides a notable, practical advantage: a breadth of Advanced Placement® (AP) coursework in all disciplines. Beginning in Grade 9, all students take AP coursework in every core subject and continue tackling challenging material throughout high school, with AP and post-AP offerings also extending to world languages, social sciences, and tech-related subjects. By contrast, many other schools reserve AP courses for select juniors and seniors.
This thorough preparation demonstrates students’ readiness for college-level work and contributes to consistently strong AP exam results. These exceptional AP exam outcomes lead to higher college admissions rates and more scholarship opportunities when students graduate. Qualifying scores may also earn college credit or advanced placement, depending on each institution’s policies.
