Ms. Williams is passionate about creating a classroom where students feel challenged, supported, and genuinely excited to learn. She believes students thrive when they feel safe to ask questions, take risks, make mistakes, and actively participate in their learning. Through hands-on STEM experiences, collaboration, and problem-solving, she encourages students to develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong curiosity about the world around them.

Ms. Williams was drawn to BASIS Independent Bothell because of its strong academic culture and commitment to helping both students and teachers remain curious, motivated, and growth-minded. She appreciates the school’s ability to balance academic rigor with a supportive and collaborative environment, as well as its focus on developing the whole student. She is especially excited to build a classroom community where students feel valued, included, and comfortable being themselves while learning how to communicate, collaborate, and encourage one another.

When she is not in the classroom, Ms. Williams enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, Milo. She loves baking something sweet, watching football and baseball, relaxing, or going on adventures with Milo. These activities help her recharge and bring positive energy, balance, and enthusiasm back to the classroom each day.
