Ms. Wahl is a Grade 4 Learning Expert Teacher at BASIS Independent Bothell. “My teaching philosophy is to meet students where they're at and give them tools to climb higher, feel confident and equipped, and to express and use their skills,” she says. She believes students learn best when they feel supported, seen, and know that their teacher is genuinely invested in their success.

Ms. Wahl was drawn to BASIS Independent Schools because of their renowned curriculum and the strong network of support provided to both students and educators. Her goal as a BASIS Independent educator is to help create a learning environment that is safe, inclusive, and academically challenging—one that fosters analytical thinking and encourages students to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Wahl enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her dog, Cere. With her move to the Pacific Northwest, she has been able to see snow for the first time in her life!
