Ms. Do
Grade 2
Primary Program
Ms. Do joins BASIS Independent Bothell as a Grade 2 Learning Expert Teacher after teaching elementary school across multiple grades in the Bay Area for over a decade. She previously earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and International Studies from the University of California, Irvine.
As a Learning Expert Teacher, her goal is to build meaningful connections with students to create a supportive and engaging environment. She aims to spark curiosity, nurture creativity, and encourage a love of learning by celebrating individuality and helping students grow into confident, compassionate, and critical thinkers.
She chose BASIS Independent Schools because she “connect[s] with their focus on well-rounded, student-centered learning.” She appreciates the two-teacher collaboration model, which she describes as creating “a dynamic and supportive learning environment that fosters both academic growth and social-emotional development.”
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that “students learn best when they feel valued, engaged, and connected to what they’re learning.” She encourages collaboration and peer interaction while also adapting instruction so that all learners have opportunities to succeed.
Outside of teaching, Ms. Do enjoys being a dog mom, spending time with family, cooking, exploring new foods, traveling, and playing board games. “My toddler and I are on a mission to find the best playground in Washington!” she shares.
