As Dean of Students at BASIS Independent Bothell, Ms. Livermore (affectionately known by her students as Ms. Renae) is dedicated to fostering a supportive, inclusive school community where students are empowered to thrive. Ms. Livermore holds a B.A in Education from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and an M.Ed with a specialization in language acquisition from Charles Sturt University.

As Dean of Students, Ms. Livermore values student voice and instilling collaborative and reflective practices. It is her priority to support students in developing the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to navigate both academic and personal challenges. She is equally committed to partnering with families and colleagues to build a connected and supportive school community.

Outside of school, Ms. Livermore enjoys hiking, biking, and golfing with her husband and their dog, Benny. A passionate traveler, she also loves reading and exploring galleries and museums. Originally from Australia, she spent almost a decade living and working in Shanghai before moving to the United States. “I have always found airports so exciting,” says Ms. Livermore, “but now that I live in the US, I am embracing the nostalgia and fun of road trips once again.”
