Ms. Kingsbury is a Learning Expert Teacher at BASIS Independent Bothell. She comes to our campus after receiving a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. Ms. Kingsbury chose to join the Orca community because of how the co-teaching model aligns with her own educational philosophy. “I like the idea of students having the support and encouragement of not one, but two teachers in the classroom,” she says. She believes that the best recipe for success for her students includes a positive mindset combined with encouragement and support. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys hanging out with her family and going to the YMCA.‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌
