As the Computer Science Teaching Fellow at BASIS Independent Bothell, Ms. Pacio aims to spark students' enthusiasm for coding and technology. “My goal as an educator in this role is to build excitement for computer science,” she shares. “I look forward to shaping the curriculum to match the students' interests.”

She chose BASIS Independent Schools because of the organization’s commitment to both critical thinking and creativity, as these are skills she sees as foundational to engineering and innovation. Her teaching philosophy centers on the belief that students learn best when instruction is tied to their passions: “I strive to cultivate a curriculum that makes students excited about computer science. I hope students can enter the classroom and be excited about what they will build that day!”

When she’s not teaching, Ms. Pacio enjoys cooking and exploring her Filipino heritage through food.
