Ms. Haugen received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Western Washington University with Reading and English Language Learner endorsements. She is excited to be a part of the LET/SET teaching model, where strong subject content and the development of social emotional skills are blended together to provide students with a high level of education. A strong belief of hers is the importance of creating strong relationships with families and students that help to inform teaching decisions that are best for each individual student. She was drawn to BASIS Independent Bellevue for its exceptional education standards and practices.
