Ms. Rieger earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Central Washington University and her Masters in Elementary Education from Washington Governors University. Her goal as an educator at BASIS Independent Bellevue is to make history feel alive for students. She chose BASIS Independent Bellevue because it offered her the autonomy to teach history in a way that is interesting and fun for students. Ms. Rieger enjoys traveling all over the world. On her most recent travels, she went to Egypt!. Over the past ten years, she has also been to places like Cuba, South Africa, Peru, South Korea, Germany, Ireland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
