Ms. Pan graduated from Qinghai Teacher’s College, China. After earning her teaching degree, she worked as a middle school teacher in the for five years in China. In 2008, Ms. Pan received her certificate to teach Mandarin to foreign students from Nanyang Teacher’s College. After that, she worked four years in a Chinese consulate school in Dubai as a Mandarin teacher. As a Subject Expert Teacher, Ms. Pan’s primary goal is to help her students develop strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Mandarin, while also fostering a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture and traditions. Ms. Pan is proud to be part of BASIS Independent Bellevue, where she is inspired by the school’s commitment to academic excellence and a joyful learning environment—values that deeply resonate with her as an educator. Ms. Pan is passionate about teaching and takes great pride in having supported students from many countries and regions on their Mandarin learning journey over the past 20 years. Outside the classroom, Ms. Pan enjoys walking and exploring the many beautiful parks around Bellevue.
