Helen Min
Dr. Min
Head of School

Dr. Min Head of School

Dr. Min started her journey in education by earning a teaching credential at CalState East Bay, later obtaining both a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degree from the School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley. She was the Dean and humanities teacher at a local public charter school and taught as an elementary school teacher in schools across the East Bay.

In addition to her experiences as an instructor and administrator, Dr. Min developed a rigorous and innovative K–8 science curriculum with the Learning Design Group at Lawrence Hall of Science at U.C. Berkeley. She also previously worked as an Instructional Reform Facilitator in San Francisco Unified and has supervised professional development for teacher education students at the University of San Francisco. Dr. Min’s past roles honed her expertise in optimizing the functionality of school systems and addressing the ever-evolving needs of students and instructors to provide communities with the best educational opportunities available.

Dr. Min first joined the BASIS Independent Schools network as the Director of Student Affairs at BASIS Independent Fremont. While at Fremont, she advanced into the role of Associate Head of School before becoming the founding Head of School for BASIS Independent Dublin. Throughout her career in education, she has been committed to the goal of achieving equitable outcomes for all students. Dr. Min looks forward to continuing this work and collaborating with teachers to foster the social and academic growth of students.

Outside of work, Dr. Min enjoys spending time with her family and son, doing creative projects, and traveling.

Aprajita Singh
Ms. Singh
Head of Operations

Ms. Singh Head of Operations

Ms. Singh earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from St Xavier’s University, Mumbai, India, in 2010. She earned her Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management and Organizational Analysis in 2012 from Kings College in London.

She has always enjoyed working with children, and began working at a special needs high school in the United Kingdom in 2015. This experience inspired her to continue to work in the field of education. For the majority of the 2010s, Ms. Singh was a social worker in the United States and the United Kingdom, helping various non-profits and government agencies achieve their goals.

In 2020, Ms. Singh joined BASIS Independent Fremont, serving as the Director of Admissions for four years before stepping into the role of Head of Operations. During this time, she was also selected to be a part of Spring Education Group’s Leadership Academy. In order to be selected for this program, an individual must demonstrate an unwavering commitment to education and leadership and is selected for their exemplary leadership qualities, dedication, and vision for driving positive change within our academic community. Ms. Singh was then selected as the founding Head of Operations for BASIS Independent Dublin.

When Ms. Singh is not at work, she absolutely loves to travel and hopes to be able to do more of it each year. She is also quite interested in home décor and home improvement. But mostly she spends her free time with friends, trying out new restaurants or watching movies!

Mr. Yinger Director of Admissions

Mr. Yinger holds his B.A. in English from Lebanon Valley College. He is an experienced communications and advancement professional with nearly 15 years in independent schools. He previously served as the Communications & Advancement Manager at Sant Bani School in Sanbornton, New Hampshire, where he oversaw strategic messaging, branding, publications, social media, and community engagement. Mr. Yinger also directed the school’s athletics program, blending his expertise in communications with leadership in student life. Previously, he spent over a decade at The Hill School in Pottstown, Pennslyvania, where he held a variety of roles in communications, athletics, and school life, including Sports Information Director and Associate Director of Communications. A skilled storyteller and collaborator, he is known for his adaptability, creativity, and commitment to showcasing school values.

After moving to the Bay Area from the East Coast in 2025, Mr. Yinger knew he wanted to continue working in independent schools. He was drawn to BASIS Independent Dublin because of the school’s educational model.  “BASIS Independent Schools inspires students to pursue excellence and push themselves to be their very best, while also providing the necessary support systems to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.”

Outside of school, Mr. Yinger is an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying soccer, hockey, baseball, F1 racing, track and field, golf, college basketball, and college softball.  During the pandemic, Mr. Yinger discovered that he enjoys cooking, and while he is still developing his culinary skills, he enjoys trying new recipes from time to time.  He also enjoys listening to music and spending time outside.
