Ms. Myers grew up in southeastern Ohio where she earned her Bachelor of Specialized Studies degree from Ohio University. She has a strong background in Linguistics and English Language Arts with a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) endorsement. Since the completion of her graduate coursework in Education, Ms. Myers has taught English Literature and Composition at the secondary level for the past fifteen years. Instilling a love of knowledge and the critical thinking skills that one needs in order to effectively communicate is one of Ms. Myers’ passions as an educator. “The study of literature and language gives students the tools that are essential for understanding the complexities of humanity” Myers states.
