Ms. Kaboudan serves as the Director of Academic Programs at the BASIS Independent Silicon Valley Lower School, where she oversees curriculum implementation and supports instructional excellence across grade levels. Ms. Kaboudan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Modern Sciences and Arts University in Egypt, graduating with honors and distinction. She earned her Teaching Certification from the American University in Cairo and completed a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Egypt, also graduating with honors and distinction. In addition, she holds a Strategic Management Certificate from Missouri State University in the United States.

Prior to transitioning into her current leadership role, Ms. Kaboudan served as a Mathematics Subject Expert Teacher for grades 4 and 5 at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. Her experience in the classroom continues to inform her work as Director of Academic Programs, where her goal is to ensure high academic standards while fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment for both students and teachers.

Ms. Kaboudan chose BASIS Independent Schools because the organization’s mission to educate students to the highest international standards closely aligns with her own educational experiences and professional goals. Her educational philosophy emphasizes both student well-being and the integrity of the learning process, which she believes are essential to creating a healthy and effective academic environment. She values empathy, engagement, and hands-on learning, and supports the use of technology and innovative instructional practices to enhance student learning across the Lower School.

Outside of school, Ms. Kaboudan enjoys traveling to new cities, states, and countries and learning about different cultures.
