She holds an Associate of Financial Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and previously worked as an Admission Coordinator at a private secondary school in Vancouver, Canada, for four years. Ms. Liang chose BASIS Independent Schools for its strong emphasis on liberal arts and advanced STEM curriculum, as well as its commitment to academic excellence and innovative programs that encourage critical thinking and creativity, particularly in Early Education.

Her teaching philosophy centers on building trusting, nurturing relationships with students and their families, creating an environment where every student feels valued and supported both academically and socially.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She especially loves exploring new cultures through travel and embraces life with the motto of Walt Whitman: "Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you."
