Ms. Su chose BASIS Independent Schools for its student-centered community and strong commitment to academic excellence. She values the opportunity to support students as they explore their interests, stay curious, and reach their full potential.

Her educational approach centers on creating a positive, inclusive environment where students feel confident, curious, and excited to learn. She believes students learn best when they are engaged through hands-on experiences, collaboration, and meaningful exploration. By encouraging curiosity, questions, and creativity, Ms. Su helps students build both academic skills and personal confidence while enjoying the learning process.

One of her favorite activities is working with students on hands-on crafts, where she enjoys seeing their creativity come to life. These experiences allow students to collaborate, share ideas, and take pride in their work while making learning both fun and meaningful.

Outside of school, Ms. Su enjoys traveling with her family, including snorkeling in Hawaii, taking cruises to Mexico, and visiting Disneyland. She also loves cooking Sichuan dishes and trying new recipes, often sharing her cooking with family and friends as a way to celebrate culture and connection.
