She strongly resonates with the values of reflection, evaluation, progression, and innovation and holds her students accountable to uphold these school values. Ms. Furdausi’s teaching philosophy can be best explained by the wise words of Kahlil Gibran, “The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.” It is her mission to make her students more reflective about their learning rather than simply obtaining facts from the teacher. She focuses on establishing personal connections and tailoring the content being taught to each student. Ms. Firdausi loves a good book and crossword puzzles when she has some free time. Her favorite author is PG Wodehouse. She spends as much time as she can with her family visiting new places on the weekends.
