When I joined the BASIS network as an upper school math teacher, I was drawn to a school that trusted its educators and believed in every student. Those same values continue to guide our work today. Located in Tysons Corner in Northern Virginia, our 11-acre Fairfax County campus is less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, giving students and teachers easy access to the rich cultural and historic resources of our nation’s capital. Designed with our interactive curriculum in mind, our campus features specialized classrooms for early learning, science, performing arts, and more. At its center, an atrium-style great hall connects many of these learning spaces, creating a visible sense of the discovery and connection that define the student experience.
