Mr. Stanton joined BASIS Independent McLean in 2026, bringing with him 17 years of experience in the field of education in independent and public school settings. A former teacher, Dean of Students, Middle School Head, and current Admissions professional, Mr. Stanton is passionate about helping students reach their potential and achieve their dreams. Mr. Stanton relishes connecting families and students with academic programs that will take them where they want to go. Graduation Day is his favorite day of the year, and he takes pride in knowing that he took part in a student’s life journey. He is looking forward to bringing this energy and sense of purpose to future graduating classes at BASIS Independent McLean.

When he is not on campus, Mr. Stanton enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.
