Ms. Baig
School Counselor
As a School Counselor at BASIS Independent McLean, Ms. Baig is dedicated to creating a community where students feel supported and empowered to reach their full potential. Ms. Baig has worked in the mental health field for more than a decade, with experience across schools, hospitals, and community mental health centers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology & Religion, a Doctor of Pharmacy, and a Master of Social Services. She is an LCSW.
Outside of school, she enjoys reading, birding, and spending time with her husband, their two children, and the family’s lively mix of pets, including five cats, a Cavapoo dog, and a variety of fish.
