Ms. Li is a high school Mandarin teacher at BASIS Independent McLean and a Subject Advisor for BASIS Independent Schools, with 20 years of teaching experience in the U.S. Known for infusing her lessons with creativity, music, and movement, she is passionate about cultural exchange and experiential learning. For the 2025–26 school year, she is planning an international service trip focused on panda care and exploring minority cultures in China. Maggie brings a rich cross-cultural perspective to her work, and her life motto is: “Impact lives with love, and change the future through education.”
