Ms. Marcus is proud to serve as the Director of Operations at BASIS Independent McLean. She joined the BIM community in 2021 and has previously worked in both the Admissions Office and on the Auxiliary Programs team. Before joining BIM, Ms. Marcus graduated from Virginia Tech and spent several years teaching Early Childhood Education before discovering her passion for school operations and administration. She finds great joy in creating systems and supporting the day-to-day work that helps students, teachers, and families thrive.

In her free time, Ms. Marcus enjoys exercising, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
