Dear Families,

I am excited to announce that Ms. Rebecca Wilson has been named the founding Director of Admissions of BASIS Independent Bothell. 

Ms. Wilson is a passionate advocate for education, volunteerism, and healthy communities. She is thrilled to bring a new and innovative educational option to the Greater Seattle area. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership across all K-12 grade levels in both independent day and boarding schools. Her roles have included Dean of Students, Director of Student Life, and Director of Advancement, where she has been instrumental in developing programs that enhance student engagement, the family experience, and student success.

Ms. Wilson holds a B.A. in Psychology and Communication from Western Washington University, a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Change and Leadership from Hawaii Pacific University, and a Master of Education in Educational Policy and Leadership from the University of Texas. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Tomorrow Seattle program.

I am excited to bring her expertise to our BASIS Independent Bothell administrative team.

Letter from Ms. Wilson, Director of Admissions

Hello Families, 

I am grateful to be welcomed into the BASIS Independent community! My first experience with BASIS Independent Schools was a few years ago when I was helping a family find a school in the greater Seattle area. They had heard of BASIS Independent Schools through their friends in the Bay Area and were excited when they found out about the BASIS Independent Bellevue campus opening. Through working with them, I learned a great deal about the mission and the overall program. 

BASIS Independent Bothell is an incredible addition to academic offerings in the area. I look forward to working with the community, introducing families to our program, and building our inaugural student body.
