Week 12: Final week

Hi everyone! This past Friday, June 12th, I gave my final senior project presentation! I presented to a really lovely audience, and it was great to finally put everything together into one cohesive story: the research, the case studies, the framework, all of it. Looking back at where this project started months ago versus where it ended up, it’s great to see what it has amounted to.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible: Ms. Olender, my faculty advisor, for guiding me through this whole process; Zhihua Yi, my on-site mentor at the DOT, for all the time and insight; Farid from the DOT for helping with the logistics; and DOT Commissioner Mike Flynn for their support along the way; and BASIS for giving me the opportunity to do a project like this in the first place. I’m really grateful for everything I learned, and I’m excited to bring this curiosity about infrastructure, data, and AI with me into college and beyond.
