I checked the Nixon library and found pages on the Three Sisters Library.

I’m not sure if I should contact them about these files. Maybe I should see if they have the files scanned. Now I will transition the rest of this email to discussing the two questions that you gave me.
From what I have seemed to gather, what I have seen from the Three Sisters Bridge story is how much power single individuals can have over construction projects. For something that can destroy and affect communities for generations, it seems so strange that there’s almost no rules or standards of when it is okay to do it. For example, the fact that Natcher himself almost forced all of Congress and the president to build the highway just because of his selfishness is remarkable to me. I think that will be the goal of my presentation. DC serves as the largest example, being the nation’s capital. I will finish the work you sent to me as soon as possible.I think my research will differ from previous readings by focusing on the individuals involved, notably Nixon. I was really interested by the sides Nixon took during the drama and would be curious in why he did so.
My presentation is on May 25th.
