This past July, at the Washington International Ra This past July, at the Washington International Rachmaninoff Musicians Association's (WIRMA) latest global competition at Carnegie Hall, Haoran S. '27 of BIM built the event website (https://uswrma.com/), coordinated with Carnegie Hall, and oversaw arrangements for the welcome banquet, the competition, and the awards ceremony.

His logistical skills, rigor, and meticulous attention to detail earned him high praise from WIRMA's co-founders. From hosting last year's opening ceremony to overseeing this summer's competition, Haoran has demonstrated remarkable growth through the resounding success of WIRMA's competition and concert.

Rising Grade 3 student Seray Y. ’36 earned top‑three finishes statewide across multiple Grade 4 competitions this year. She placed 2nd in the CML – Continental Math League (Euclidean Division), 2nd in the NGC – National Geography Challenge, and 3rd in the NSL – National Science League. She’s excited to take on Grade 5 competitors nationwide next year! What an impressive achievement, Seray!
