Week 10: Stellar, Planetary, And Transit Parameters
June 9, 2023
Hello and welcome back to my blog! For week 10, I spent a lot of time with my On-site advisor, Dr. Tanner, working to understand all the equations and calculations I’ll be completing. I made a chart depicting the different values or parameters:.
We also discussed a series of parameters that appeared in my research that I decided against showcasing in my senior project such as incident flux. We deemed these more niche qualities of the star and planet too complicated to include in my presentation, but Dr. Tanner and I still discussed all of them in detail. Next week, I will work with her to complete all the calculations. Thanks for reading my blog! Come back next week for some cool space math!
