Our Campuses

BASIS Independent Brooklyn

BASIS Independent Brooklyn is a vibrant private school community in a setting that fuels discovery and connectivity between students and teachers by affording easy access to numerous museums, parks, galleries, and more. BASIS Independent Brooklyn’s Lower School campus (PreK–Grade 2) is conveniently located in bustling downtown Brooklyn, a widely accessible transportation hub served by numerous subway lines and the LIRR at nearby Atlantic Terminal. Its vibrant campus is located across from Abolitionist Place Park, giving our young students immediate access to a public green outdoor space for recess and more. Nearby access to the New York Transit Museum, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and more provides students with rich learning opportunities outside the classroom. Our Upper School campus (Grades 3–12) in Brooklyn’s distinctive Red Hook neighborhood provides a large five-story facility. Its expansive waterfront setting, with views of the NYC harbor and the Statue of Liberty, underscores meaningful connections to New York and U.S. history.‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌
