Mr. Syetta is a Subject Expert Teacher teaching Grades 6 and 7 Physics. His goals as a BASIS Independent educator are to instill respect and understanding of science, math, and specifically physics, in curious students, as well as refine his own teaching techniques. Mr. Syetta chose BASIS Independent Brooklyn because the values at the school align with his personal values. As an educator, he believes it is important to teach effectively and personally; BASIS Independent provides various resources, opportunities, and availabilities to cater to students’ needs.

When not in the classroom, Mr. Syetta enjoys rock climbing, riding his bike, and spending time outdoors.
