"Our classroom will be a place of warmth, positivity, and creativity, where every student is valued and encouraged to shine," shared Ms. Witherspoon. "I promise that we will work together to make this year unforgettable."

Before coming to BASIS Independent Brooklyn, Ms. Witherspoon was a lead classroom teacher for several years. After taking a break from teaching to follow other prospects, she realized teaching is her true passion. She feels strongly that partnerships with parents and guardians are vital to our success.

"I encourage you to stay involved in your child's education, share their interests and strengths, and communicate with me openly. Let's work hand in hand to ensure a fantastic and enriching year for your child."
