Ms. Liu is a Mandarin Subject Expert Teacher who is also a native speaker of the language. Ms. Liu joins us from SWAN Chinese-American International School in Manhattan, where she taught Gr. 3-6 students Mandarin. Prior to that, she taught at Pudong Foreign Language School Affiliated to Shanghai International Studies University for five years as a Chinese faculty member. Ms. Liu graduated from Anhui Normal University and went on to receive her master’s degree in teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages from Shanghai International Studies University. She has received many awards and accolades through the years, including outstanding teacher awards from SWAN, Pudong Foreign Language School, and the Confucius Institute in Korea.
