Last week, our PreK students welcomed Puppet Works

Last week, our PreK students welcomed Puppet Works, a nonprofit marionette theater based in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Known for performances drawn from children’s literature, musical works, and fairy tales, the company brought a collection of delightful characters to life. Our students were captivated by the show and even got a chance to try puppeteering themselves! Last week Forbes announced their “30 Under 30” Class of 2026 list. We are incredibly proud to announce that our alum Denise Hewitt ’20 was among the young leaders honored as visionaries shaping the future in “Art and Style.” Here’s what Forbes had to say: “Denise is a Brooklyn-born photographer who captures cinematic, intimate portraits of leaders and trailblazers in arts and entertainment.
