Our Meet the Teacher Nights surpassed our expectat Our Meet the Teacher Nights surpassed our expectations! Families came out to meet the many educators nurturing the growth of their children. Teachers led discussions in their classrooms and provided an overview of what’s ahead. Parents mingled with faculty, school leadership, and each other.

Tonight is our final Meet the Teacher Night for Gr. 6-12 at our Red Hook campus from 6-8p.m.

Next up - We have some great Teacher Testimonials to share!

Our High School Governors Island retreat last week Our High School Governors Island retreat last week proved once again why we're building something great together. Shout out to Mr. Winter for capturing our crew disembarking from the ferry in a cute time-lapse video!

The retreat was deliberately designed:
- Freshmen conquered ice-breakers and discovered their voices.
- Sophomores and juniors dominated teamwork challenges that pushed their limits.
- Seniors dove deep into reflection, preparing to lead in their last year of our high school with purpose.

Then came the main event: our cross-island scavenger hunt. Watching freshmen strategize alongside seniors and seeing juniors mentor sophomores made us proud of the connections being forged.

We closed with island exploration and lawn games under perfect skies, but the real victory was watching our school community grow stronger right before our eyes.

Thank you to our High School Student Affairs team and great faculty chaperones for investing in experiences that matter. This is how you build a school culture that lasts.
