Week 7 & 8
May 23, 2023
After returning from India it was difficult to get into the groove of things especially with my jetlag being so bad! However, I was able to push through to get some work done on the Project Standards document which is nearly finished. The document has been going through edits to get the formatting correct because when we first printed it out everything looked so large and the document looked a bit unprofessional. However, after changing around and adding new content, it is almost finished. I started a new task of updating a spreadsheet with the sensor installations at MCPS schools. I count the number of sensors that are placed in each school and how many of each type are placed (standard, VOC, CO, etc) and input them into the spreadsheet.
Additionally, I assisted in the STEM event that SETTY participated in at the Entertainment and Sports Arena right before the WNBA Mystics game. We helped elementary and middle school students build catapults and launch cotton balls for prizes. In addition to this SETTY also had a presentation up about their assistance in building and engineering the Entertainment and Sports Arena which was quite interesting. Overall, these were a fun two weeks aside from the hurdle of getting rid of my jetlag!
