Week 6: The Approach

As the final week of my senior project closes in, I have begun the final touches on my database for Artisan Analytix. I have focused on a few select areas, specifically NAICs codes (North American Industry Classification System), which can be surprisingly precise (I was able to find multiple contracts from the US Navy calling for, and I quote, “catholic musicians”), as well as set asides for small businesses/minorities. I have also created multiple dashboards depending on the scale required for the search, varying by the state. My end product will contain over 300,000 data points collected from various sources, and dynamically organized into a dashboard on the master excel document I have been filing it all into.
