Week 5: Structuring my Presentation
April 14, 2024
Hello, welcome to week 5, the latest update of my senior project!
This week, I spent most of my time attempting to figure out the structure of my presentation for the end of the year. With the material I have been given, I was able to find a good structure for my presentation:
- Introduction: Where I define burnout, the importance of addressing it, and what my main objective is out of this project.
- Literature Review: Summarizing and having an overview of the research I have done, the factors that contribute to burnout, and the effects of burnout on physicians and patients.
- Methodology: Descriptions of the research designs I conduct, the research by others, and the methods of collecting the information.
- Results: Findings related to the prevalence and severity of physician burnout, identification of the key factors associated with burnout, and an analysis of data on the impact of burnout on job satisfaction and patient outcomes.
- Discussion: Summary and thoughts of the results in the context of my literature review, mentioning ways to address physician burnout, and coming up with ways to change healthcare policies and practices.
- Conclusion: Summary of key findings and their significance and ways for future research and interventions to mitigate physician burnout
- References: List of sources cited in the research project.
- Acknowledgments: Recognition of any individuals or organizations who contributed to my research project.
With this information already sorted for my presentation, I hope to have an easier time organizing all the information I have collected over the past three months. Stay tuned next week for more updates on my internship and research!
Byeeee!
