Week 2

Hi! Here is an update of what the past week has looked like. I spent most of my time trying to form a cohesive rough draft of my methods. I vastly underestimated how easy it would be to write a good methodology section, but with time it will improve.

Additionally, I focused on collecting data. I was really excited to start collecting data but struggled to maintain motivation after having to write down every misogynistic action in an episode. I have watched six episodes, but was only able to use three of them. The three episodes that I was able to use produced a good data set.

I have decided to change my project from three cartoons to five. This way I can get more of an overtime trend. However, to make sure the workload is manageable, I will only watch three episodes per cartoon. This way I will still end up watching fifteen episodes total.
