Week 4!!

Hi guys, welcome to my belated week 4 blog post!

I’ve spent this week reading and collecting data. I filled in my business pitch template, and I condensed my report about the 179D from a disorganized outline to a sizable draft. I’m probably about halfway done at this point, and now I’m just researching the more technical aspects of this law (who is qualified, the exact documents required to qualify, the approval process, etc.). I will compose my final suggestions/business plan by incorporating all of these aspects. I also spent much of this week in contact with a tax specialist, and I will be finding and sending the required documents to her team for analysis relating to my company’s current projects.

I’ve almost finished reading my conflict-resolution method book Getting To Yes, which basically talks about several strategies to keep in mind while negotiating with/between different parties. If anything, I’ve learned that conflict resolution is not only a political field, but also a social one. International relations blend with psychology, sociology, history, and so much more.

Really excited to see where the next week takes me, now that the stress of college admissions is over. I definitely feel a new surge of interest and motivation.
