Robby DeMartino’s Week 10 Blog
May 31, 2023
Hi all!
This is my final week of my Senior Project! This week I worked on writing some code that calculated the upper bounds for mass of potential mini-Black Holes based on the data that we previously sorted. I also used the Variable Star Index and Vizier to obtain the orbital period of the star and then used the binary mass function with a very rough estimate of the eccentricity value. Hopefully this will prove helpful in the project in the future! This project has been so great and I learned so much. The most important thing that I got from it was the experience of working on a project that I truly enjoyed doing. This has shown me what I should look for in life.
Thank you so much for reading this blog post and if you have any questions, please leave a comment and I would be happy to do my best to answer it.
