Week 9: Almost done
May 3, 2025
During Week 9 of the virtual exhibit project, I was finally able to dive back into the work after repairing some key components that had been holding things up. With everything back in working order, I started off the week by writing and completing the script for the Guided Tour.
The next day, I moved into the implementation phase. I began integrating the Guided Tour into the Artsteps platform and aligning it with the visual and interactive elements of the exhibit. This process involved syncing the narrative with specific stops and ensuring that the transitions between sections felt natural and intuitive. It was satisfying to see the concept come to life as the pieces started to come together.
On the following day, I switched gears and returned to editing the research paper. After a few hours of focused editing, the paper is now nearly complete and only needs a final review from my advisors before it can be considered finished.
The day after that, I dedicated more time to improving the exhibit itself. I paid close attention to the flow and transitions between different sections, trying to ensure the visitor experience is as seamless as possible. I also started preparing for the upcoming presentations. Overall, Week 9 was full of steady and meaningful progress across multiple aspects of the exhibit. The project is definitely on schedule and it will be finished by the end of next week. Thank you to everyone who has been following on this journey and I hope people can gain insight from my perspectives.
