Week 10: The End

Welcome back to my blog! Sorry for the late post, but here is my blog for the week. Let’s go!
The Bitter-Sweet Ending
Now that you have gone through this treacherous and tedious journey with me through these blogs, it is time for our marvelous reward at the end of it all!
I’m going to keep this post short and sweet to really emphasize the culmination of the work in the past couple of months and highlight what the star of the production has become.
Below are some clips of the best parts of each song that we have created within this project. I couldn’t create the whole song utilizing vocals, since we didn’t have a male singer for these songs (and the rest of us are horrible singers), so we just omitted those parts in our recorded arrangement. However, our Finale files do include the male parts, albeit in the form of instrumentals, but they are there nonetheless. Anyways, enough blabbering from me, and let’s get on to the recorded clips that I have for you!
I hope that you enjoyed those clips! Even though they are relatively short, the amount of work it took to make them possible was a lot so I really hope that you enjoyed them. Unfortunately for copyright’s sake, I’m going to withhold showing the whole Finale files in case of potential needless musical copyright infringements (as the music industry is notorious for doing so).
Anyways, that’s all I have for this week’s blog, and I hope that the recordings were pleasing to listen to. There will also be a recorded presentation that will include some parts of the Finale files, so be on the lookout for that!
Also, a great thank you to my internal advisors Ms. Jordana and Ms. Bhattacharya for helping me through the Senior Project process, alongside my external advisor Dr. Robert Chun who has kept track of my hours throughout the weeks. Big thank you to them!
Additionally, I would also like to thank my team for making this possible in every way, shape, and form. Thank you to Meha Gaba, the vocalist you heard above, Jiarong Zhang, someone who helped me arrange music, Alex Chen, our violinist, and Jason Rhee, our percussionist, for making this all possible.
I greatly appreciate you going on this journey with me, and I hope to see you with my other music endeavors!
See you all soon!
