Our engineering curriculum is intentionally design Our engineering curriculum is intentionally designed to spiral from foundational knowledge to advanced application, ensuring content mastery at each level, as demonstrated in our recent robotics and coding unit.🤖

Filled with wonder and curiosity, our kindergartners met the @ozobot and learned to master basic coding and commands.💡Meanwhile, spiral up to grade 5 engineering class, where students are using @legoeducation Spike Kits for complex problem-solving. They brought their robots to life by exploring key hardware components – gyroscopic, distance, and color sensors – and simultaneously using Scratch software to control them.

This K–5 progression, led by our Engineering Subject Expert Teacher, Ms. Delaney, prepares our five-year-old Wildcats to be competent in real-world engineering and computational fluency by age ten.

With a deep understanding of polymer chemistry, they had a messy, hands-on lab, turning long strands of molecules into a non-Newtonian fluid. By manipulating the matter and observing its viscosity changes in real-time, they transformed a fun activity into a complex lesson in chemical bonding. Talk about hands-on learning and discovery! 🧬
