BASIS Independent Manhattan
BASIS Independent Manhattan is a vibrant school community that fuels discovery and connectivity between students, teachers, and ideas by affording easy access to a variety of culturally rich and stimulating museums, parks, galleries, and more. Conveniently located on the family-friendly Upper West Side in a mixed-use high-rise building, our Lower School campus (PreK–Grade 5) features an 8,000-square-foot outdoor terrace for play, a unique asset for a Manhattan lower school. The Upper School (Grades 6–12) is in the heart of Chelsea, directly across from Chelsea Piers and the Hudson waterfront, where students can easily access the High Line and explore the cultural richness of local art galleries. Chelsea Piers provides the home for PE classes, sports classes, athletics, and community events, serving as an extension of our campus that is integral to daily student life.
BASIS Independent Manhattan is an Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) member school.
