A Summer Built for Discovery
Summer is a time for continued wonder at BASIS Independent Manhattan. Our in-person and virtual summer programs offer engaging opportunities for students to explore new interests, develop skills, collaborate with others, and form connections that last well beyond the summer months.
Summer 2027 program details will be announced in December. The program examples and grade ranges below are based on Summer 2026 offerings and are provided to give families a sense of the experiences typically available. Programs, grade levels, schedules, and availability may change each year.

Rising PreK–Grade 5
Each day is full of adventure, as campers explore new activities, develops new skills, and creates memories they will cherish. Throughout the week, campers investigate science and nature, find their voices through the creative and performing arts, and build teamwork through sports and games. Indoor and outdoor experiences inspire wonder, encourage curiosity, and make every day an opportunity for discovery.
Specialty Camps
Rising Grades 2–9, depending on the program
Our specialty and sports camps offer hands-on experiences that help campers discover new skills and talents. Specialty programs invite students to explore interests such as coding apps, hacking and cybersecurity, urban planning, and the English language. Sports camps give young athletes opportunities to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and practice teamwork in an engaging and supportive environment.
Virtual Summer Programs
Led by expert BASIS Independent teachers, our virtual summer programs allow students to continue learning from anywhere. Offerings may include for-credit academic courses and enrichment opportunities across subjects such as writing, fine arts, mathematics, computer science, economics, and business.
