Her background spans academic administration, student leadership, and community programming. While at NYU, she managed office operations for the athletics department, served as president of the College of Arts and Science Student Council, and worked as marketing coordinator for the Student Government Assembly. These experiences reinforced her commitment to building supportive, well-organized spaces for students.

Ms. Caternor’s goal is to help students stay curious, engaged, and excited about school programs every day. She chose BASIS Independent Manhattan because of its warm, diverse community and strong academic mission.
Outside of work, Ms. Caternor enjoys watching movies and television shows, as well as exploring New York City with friends. A fun fact about her is that she plays both the piano and bass guitar!
