Ms. Brown-Caraballo
Operations Manager, Lower School
Ms. Brown-Caraballo graduated from Saint Peter’s University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies. She brings more than 20 years of experience working with children, families, and schools in both support and leadership capacities. Prior to moving into school operations, she focused heavily on preschool leadership, enrollment, and family engagement throughout New Jersey, including serving as the Director of Espin Preschool and managing daily operations at KIPP SPARK Academy.
Now at BASIS Independent Manhattan, Ms. Brown-Caraballo serves as the Lower School Operations Manager. In her role, she supports students, families, and staff each day to ensure the school environment is welcoming, highly organized, and positive for everyone. She chose BASIS Independent Manhattan because of the school's deep commitment to helping students grow both academically and personally. For her, building strong relationships and helping families feel deeply connected is the most rewarding part of her work.
Outside of the office, Ms. Brown-Caraballo enjoys baking, trying new restaurants, spending time with her family, and listening to music. A fun fact about her is that she loves making desserts and always looks for creative ways to bring people together through food!
