Mr. Kittle-Kamp graduated from the University of Southern California in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and a minor in Playwriting. His specialization includes ancient Athenian tragedy, epic poetry, and Classical reception. From 2018 to 2024, he lived in Los Angeles and taught at various programs including Wise Readers to Leaders in 2021 and the Department of Cultural Arts in 2024. In 2023, he received the Hollywood Fringe Fest Scholarship for his devised theater work. Currently, Mr. Kittle-Kamp is a Latin Subject Expert Teacher at BASIS Independent Manhattan, where he strives to bridge modernity and antiquity through ancient literature and histories. He chose BASIS Independent Manhattan for its globalized educational model, academic rigor, and emphasis on critical analysis of literature. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his cat, translating Sophokles’s Antigone, and writing plays.
