Ms. Williams earned her master's in secondary education from Leipzig University, specializing in English, Latin, and didactics. Her passion for language and education has taken her from Germany to Northern Ireland and ultimately to New York City, where she joined BASIS Independent Manhattan as a founding faculty member in 2017. Throughout her time at BASIS Independent Manhattan, Ms. Williams has served in many roles, including Kindergarten Teaching Fellow, Latin teacher for grades 5–12, teacher mentor, track and field coach, and, since 2024, Dean of Students (Middle School). In her current role, she is passionate about helping students discover their potential, grow into confident and independent learners, and contribute to a school community where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Outside of school, Ms. Williams enjoys spending time with her family and dog, reading, traveling the world, biking, and running around New York City. She hopes to add the Berlin Marathon as her third Abbott World Marathon Majors star soon.‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌
